Eye Screening

The Gridley Lions Club provides Eye Screening for members of all Elementary Schools in Gridley. This Eye Screening is completely free of charge to all children. This Eye Screening is provided once a year in the first week of December. It involves an examination by a licensed optometrist. Where necessary a referral to an optometrist or ophthalmologist is made.

The Eye Screening Program is one of the elements in our effort to assure optimal vision in our Community. The Gridley Lions Club has taken on the challenge to prevent blindness in our own community. In addition to this program we provide glasses to those who need them and assist in the worldwide effort of Lions International to conquer Blindness.
