Graffiti Eradication:
We at the Gridley Lions Club are mighty proud of our Community.
We believe that graffiti represents a major eye sore and a sign of decline. If it is
allowed to stay, it can give our youth the wrong message about what our
society tolerates.
The best way to keep a community free of Graffiti, is to remove
it immediately when it appears. That way very few people get to see it and the
person who got the graffiti up in the first place is not going to have the
pleasure of having many people "enjoy" his or her "Art". If
Graffiti is removed immediately there is no opportunity for
"Communication" between graffiti artists by writing answers to the
previous graffiti, and there is no point in trying to outdo each other.
The Gridley Lions Club has pledged to remove Graffiti the moment
it appears on the buildings, structures, etc. in our community. We
will not tolerate the Graffiti for one minute! We are assisted in our
quest to keep our Community free of Graffiti by the Gridley Police Department
(including the Gridley Police Volunteers) who let us know immediately when
graffiti appears. We also need your assistance. When you see Graffiti in
Gridley, please call us immediately. We will do everything we can to come out to
paint over or remove the Graffiti.
Or Graffiti Eradication Program has gained international
recognition and our example is now being followed in many communities all over
the United States and in other countries. Please help us keep this program a
success. You can do this by letting us know where the graffiti is. If you see Graffiti in Gridley Call us immediately at
(530) 846-3190.
WE TOLERATE NO GRAFFITI IN GRIDLEY!
