Student Speaker Contest:
The Gridley Lions Club sponsors a local Student Speaker Contest.
In this contest candidates from the local High School compete against each other
in an attempt to deliver the best possible speech. The subject of the speech is
selected by District 4C1 of Lions Clubs International. The winning candidate is
awarded a Monetary price and a chance to compete in the Zone, Regional, and
District Competition.

Junior Student Speaker Contest:
There also is a Student Speaker Contest for Junior High
